Fabrizio Romano reveals Andoni Iraola’s Man United dream and Chelsea update

Fabrizio Romano has revealed what would be a ‘dream’ move for Andoni Iraola after his move from Bournemouth, with Man United and Chelsea both receiving updates on the Spaniard.
Andoni Iraola is about to leave Chelsea and Man United
One of the biggest developments of the summer is the guaranteed departure of Iraola.
After guiding the club through another strong Premier League campaign, Iraola decided to move on at the end of the season, opening the door to interest from bigger clubs.
Bournemouth have been competitive throughout the campaign and remain firmly in the hunt for Europe, showing who they are and the structure under their leadership.
That has made Iraola one of the coaches who are being talked about to enter to please the management.
It is not surprising then that United and Chelsea are linked with him.
Man Utd have identified “fake” Premier League manager as prime candidate to replace Carrick
INEOS is looking for an alternative to Michael Carrick.
Both clubs are navigating their own uncertain circumstances, with the long-term direction still being assessed behind the scenes.
United have been on the upswing since Michael Carrick was brought in as a stop-gap to replace Ruben Amorim, with the Old Trafford legend guiding them within touching distance of Champions League football.
That made Carrick a top contender for the full-time hot seat, making Iraola a tough contender for the job.
Chelsea’s situation was not settled.

The one who played for Spurs says it is a big achilles heel.
The London side endured a poor run, struggling to string together results and going through another changeover in the dugout after the dismissal of Liam Rosenior.
Against that, transfer expert Romano sheds light on Iraola’s thinking and current playing situation.
Fabrizio Romano shares Andoni Iraola’s review of Chelsea and Man United
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano said that Iraola dreams of continuing in England at the top, but nothing has been developed yet with the Red Devils or Chelsea.
“Iraola has this dream of continuing in the Premier League, and in England, at the highest level,” said Romano.
“That’s why he’s linked with Man United, that’s why he’s linked with Chelsea.
“But my understanding is, at the moment with Chelsea, nothing has been developed or decided.
“For Man United, it is clear that, internally they take care of the evaluation process of all potential candidates.”
Those words clearly emphasize the situation.
Iraola is very keen to stay in England and step up to a bigger role, but there is no success at either club.
For Chelsea, the bottom line is that no final decision has been made. The club is still considering a number of options, and while Iraola is popular, no deal or negotiations have progressed at this stage.
That leaves the door open to other candidates as the process continues, with Chelsea speaking to Xabi Alonso’s camp this week.
At United, this approach seems to be the norm.
Rather than rushing into a decision, the club are taking time to review a number of potential managers, but Carrick is believed to be the frontrunner at the moment.
What happens next will probably depend on the timeframe.
Since the ‘elite’ Iraola will be available, interest is expected to increase once the season ends. Both clubs will have to decide soon if they see him as suitable.
For now, the situation is still open.
Iraola’s exit from Bournemouth has put him in the spotlight, but United and Chelsea are still in the mood for evaluation.
The coming weeks will determine whether that interest turns into something tangible.
