Update on Lloyd Kelly’s Juventus future with Leeds now showing “substantial interest”
Leeds United are now showing “obvious interest” in signing Lloyd Kelly, amid a fresh update on the defender’s future at Juventus.
A former AFC Bournemouth player, Kelly has been active in the Serie A since signing for Juventus in the January 2025 transfer window, where he received positive reviews for his performances from commentator Adam Summerton.
However, the centre-back is already being eyed for a return to the Premier League, with former club Newcastle United reportedly in a good position to secure a deal, while the likes of Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest are also waiting in the wings.

Juventus are expected to want £30m for Kelly, who should be able to afford Leeds, as they are expected to raise £20m from the sale of Struijk. |

Akin to Struijk, Kelly is also left-footed, meaning he could replace the Dutchman at the heart of Daniel Farke’s defence. |

Journalist Marco Conterio has now dropped an update on Kelly’s future, saying he could leave Juventus in the summer transfer window, and has attracted “concrete interest” from Leeds.
There could be competition for his signature, with undisclosed clubs from Spain also interested, alongside the aforementioned Englishmen.
