As reported by Spain’s Vamos Mi Sevilla FC and relayed by Sport Witness, Newcastle have launched a move to sign Oso from Sevilla this summer.
The Spanish club have issued a deadline for their defender to sign a new contract or complete an exit before next season. As things stand, his current deal will expire in less than a year, meaning Sevilla have just two chances to cash in.
So, they are now desperate and will start negotiations for 10 million euros (£9m) if Oso fails to sign before the deadline.
