Amazon’s twelfth annual Prime Day sale wraps up today, June 26. There are plenty of really good deals to be had this week (check out our active list). But the deals on headphones and earbuds are looking exceptionally good, even on Prime Day.

Other highlights from the second day of sales include record low prices on Bose QuietComfort headphones, Sony XM6 earbuds and headphones, last-generation XM5 headphones, and our two favorite open-back earbuds. We also saw a record low on Apple AirPods Max 2, but Amazon’s inventory has been hot and cold, selling out multiple times this morning alone. At the time of writing, you can only find them for sale at Best Buy. Soundcore also has a strong selection of Prime Day deals, with the budget-friendly Space One headphones and P30i earbuds both hitting all-time low prices for Prime members.

The Sony WF-1000XM6 earbuds are some of the best I’ve tried, but even at their retail prices, they’re a great investment. While the Bose QuietComfort Ultra earbuds aren’t quite up to snuff in terms of sound quality, they still have the best noise cancellation available, and they’re the most comfortable earbuds I’ve ever tried. For $249 (regularly $299), or about $17 less, they’re a deal to win this Big Day.

Why we love you
Bose was the almost undisputed champion of great-sounding earbuds – that is, until the Sony LinkBuds came along. In my head-to-head testing of the earbuds, I found that while the Bose Ultra Open buds are loud (an important feature for open earbuds), the clarity and sound detail of the Sony buds is superior to the Bose. Even though their price difference is only $20 this Big Day, the sub-$200 price point on Sony’s earbuds is hard to pass up.
