‘Past Lives,’ ‘Training Day,’ ‘Body Bodies’ and More Movies to Stream for Free in May.

When you are tired of not stopping price increase from your favorite broadcast platformsnice to know that free tv streaming services like Tubi, Kanopy and Pluto TV can count on all kinds of great shows and movies. New movies and TV shows arrive on these platforms every month, making them great options if you don’t want to pay for another service.

This May, Tubi has a few fun real-life movies to check out, including The Battle for Castle Itter, which is about a real-life World War II battle where American and French soldiers team up with the Nazis and turn to war to save a group of prisoners. And to keep things action-packed, you can catch movies like Casino Royale and Training Day on Tubi this month, too.

Kanopy always has a great rotating selection of new movies. This month, you can check out the PBS documentary The American Revolution: A Film by Ken Burns, and the special premiere of The Librarians, a new film about America’s book ban debate produced by Sarah Jessica Parker. The Battle For Castle Itter (May 1)

Tubi’s original film, Battle For Castle Itter, is a historical drama based on real events from the last days of World War II, often referred to as the strangest battle of the Great War. The film, starring Aleksandar Trmcic, Daniel Grogan, and Frano Lasic, is about a group of US soldiers and French prisoners of war who form an unlikely alliance with a group of German soldiers to save a group of French prisoners and politicians who were about to be executed in an Austrian fortress by the Nazis. The film will arrive on May 1.
