O’Shaquie Foster Defeated Raymond Ford in WBC Title Bout

The battle began with immediate drama. Foster came out aggressive and, late in the opening round, sent Ford to the ropes during their exchange. No point was drawn, and the battle continued after a brief delay.
Ford settled into the fight in the second round, finding success with his speed and counter striking. He fired several sharp left hands and body shots while paying Foster whenever the champion got overly aggressive.
The first rounds were very competitive. Foster pressed forward behind combinations and right hands while Ford relied on timing and accuracy to score with counters. Neither fighter was able to establish complete control during the first half of the contest.
As the fight went on, Foster gradually found his rhythm. He increased the output punch, came up with more combinations, and used effective pressure to force Ford to a higher level of performance. The champion’s best stretch came during the middle rounds when he repeatedly overpowered Ford with right hands and controlled most of the action.
Ford continued to have moments, especially when attacking the body and countering with straight lefts, but Foster’s work and ring generalship allowed him to move up the cards. Ford rallied in the later rounds and finished several exchanges solidly, although Foster remained drafted and closed the fight well enough to secure the decision.
After 12 rounds, Foster retained his title in front of his hometown fans and quickly turned his attention to the big 130-pound prospect.
Woodward Arranging Flowers
Featherweight contender Javon “Pop” Woodward improved to 18-2 (16 KOs) with an eighth-round stoppage of veteran Miguel Flores.
Woodward dropped Flores in the second round with a solid right hand and continued to apply pressure throughout the fight. Flores showed great determination, fighting through a cut above his left eye and firing repeatedly despite receiving heavy punishment.
The action remained competitive until the eighth round, when Woodward scored two more knockdowns. Flores got up in the second but couldn’t beat the count after the third knockdown, which ended the fight at 2:31 of the round.
Sheehy Breaks Theran
Lightweight prospect Charlie Sheehy remains undefeated, improving to 13-0 (8 KOs) with a ninth-round stoppage of Nike Theran.
Sheehy controlled the fight from the opening bell behind a steady jab, straight right hands, and consistent body work. Theran showed resilience and survived a few tough moments, but Sheehy’s constant attacks wore him down.
After dominating much of the contest, Sheehy finally ended matters in the ninth round when a right hand dropped Theran with a full count.
Jones Cruise Passed Osuna
2024 Olympic bronze medalist Omari Jones improved to 7-0 (4 KOs) with an eight-round unanimous decision victory over Diego Osuna.
Jones started quickly, scoring a knockdown in the first round with a left hook. From there, he controlled the fight with his jab, movement, and superior boxing skills.
Osuna showed resilience by surviving several dangerous moments, but Jones continued to box him out in the remaining rounds to earn an 80-71 score on all three cards.
Moses remains unbeaten
Lightweight Zaquin Moses improved to 7-0 (3 KOs) with a six-round unanimous decision over Travis Crawford.
Moses controlled most of the fight with high speed and precision, landing clean punches throughout the contest. Crawford continued to compete and had the best success in the final round, but Moses responded well and finished the fight firmly to get the same three points of 60-54.

Super featherweight prospect Julian Montalvo improved to 7-0 (5 KOs) with a fourth round stoppage of Maximus Moya. Montalvo invested heavily to the body throughout the fight before forcing the referee to stop the bout at 2:16 of the fourth round.
Middleweight Frank Espinoza moved to 4-0 (4 KOs) when Bryce Blackwell’s corner stopped their fight ten seconds into the fourth round. Espinoza dominated the action from the opening bell and hurt Blackwell repeatedly in the third round.
Super middleweight Jahyden Britton improved to 9-0 (6 KOs) with a fourth round stoppage of Najee West. Britton scored three knockdowns with body shots before the fight ended at 2:58 of the fourth round.
