NHL Injuries: Sabers, Avs, Stars, Oilers, Wild, Sens, Flyers, Blues, and Lightning

Matthew Fairburn: Buffalo Sabers forward Josh Norris missed last night’s game and is listed as day-to-day.
Evan Rawal: Colorado Avalanche defenseman Josh Manson left last night’s game with an upper back injury.
Lia Assimakopoulos: Dallas Stars forward Roope Hintz started skating on Wednesday and has been ruled out for Game 4, and is unlikely to be available for Game 5. They would like to get him skating with the big team before he returns to the game.
Derek Van Diest: Edmonton Oilers forward Connor McDavid appeared to roll his ankle during Wednesday’s game and left briefly for observation. After the game, McDavid said, “I just rolled with it a little bit. It’s OK.”
Ryan Rishaug: Oilers coach Kris Knoblauch said he doesn’t care about McDavid. Striker Adam Henrique did not go with the team. Forward Jason Dickinson may be available for Game 3.

Michael Russo: Minnesota Wild coach Jon Hynes said they hope that with two days off, forwards Mats Zuccarello and Yakov Trenin will continue to improve.
Mike Morreale: Hynes said Zuccarello and Trenin have more injuries and will play in Game 3, then added: “They’ve been trying to fix that so we’ll see. I hope these few days help and we’ll see if we’re there on Saturday.”
Zoe Pierce: Ottawa Senators defenseman Jake Sanderson left last night’s game in the second half after being hit in the head by Hurricanes Taylor Hall. Sanderson pitched two innings after hitting and then walking. Hall received a two-minute child for illegal testing.
Zoe Pierce: Just before Sanderson left the game, he blocked a shot, and it looked like he hurt his hand.
Defenseman Tyler Kleven is back in the lineup after missing the past nine games with an upper-body injury. Defenseman Artem Zub missed last night’s game with an undisclosed injury.
Adam Kimelman: Philadelphia Flyers coach Rick Toccet on goaltender Dan Vladar: “It’s close to maintenance day. He was probably going to go, but he’s upset. He’s feeling better today. That’s all the information I really have.”
Jordan Hall: Flyers Owen Tippett, Cam York and Vladar did not skate yesterday. Tippett and York were going through some things.
Louis Blues: Forward Jordan Kyrou underwent knee surgery this week and is expected to be ready for the start of training camp.
Pierre LeBrun: Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Victor Hedman was on the ice again yesterday.
