New shows and movies to watch on Peacock in July 2026

Peacock it’s home to some of the most addictive reality series out there, including The Traitors, Love Island and House of Villains. It is also the broadcast home of Bravo franchises such as The Real Housewives, Summer House and Top Chef. But while the platform boasts some of the best unscripted TV programming, you can also find incredible scripted shows, including the hilarious Poker Face, dramas like All Her Fault and more.

With its vast library spanning all genres and a growing slate of original and exclusive content, it seems there’s always something new to try — or old favorites to binge on. This month, one of the first new songs to enter the field is The Five Star Weekend, a new series starring Jennifer Garner, Regina Hall, D’Arcy Carden, Chloe Sevigny and Gemma Chan as friends who meet for a weekend in Nantucket. (Garner’s 13 Going on 30 co-star Judy Greer appears on the show, too!)

And this month, you can catch the new season of Married at First Sight, as well as great movies including Black Bag, Jaws and more. Here’s a look at the topics we’re excited to explore at Peacock in July 2026.

It’s a summer tradition of passing through at least one streaming service’s jaw-dropping, quintessential summer blockbuster. This year, the peacock drops not only the 1975 original, but all three sequels, too: Jaws 2, Jaws 3-D and Jaws: Revenge. Listen, none of the sequels are as good as the original, but each has a summery vibe. The films arrived at the Peacock on July 1st, just in time to celebrate the Fourth of July with the excited citizens of Amity.

Focus factors

From its plot, Black Bag sounds like a crime thriller about a British intelligence officer, George Woodhouse (Michael Fassbender), who suspects his wife (Cate Blanchett), also a spy, may be a traitor and starts following her to gather evidence. But director Steven Soderbergh paints the film with his signature brushstrokes, making it stylish and sexy thanks to the moody lighting and killer chemistry between the two leads. The tension is visible everywhere. The film, which came out in 2025 and was our favorite last year, is available exclusively at Peacock from 2 July.

Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular 2026

Jaws isn’t the only summer viewing tradition you can catch on the Peacock this month. The Macy’s 4th July Fireworks Spectacular is back for its 50th year. The first was the nation’s centennial celebration in 1976, and this time there will be more celebrations than ever as America celebrates its 250th birthday. 85,000 fireworks in 30 different colors will light up the sky over New York City, and the broadcast will feature performances from Noah Kahan, Post Malone, Bebe Rexha, Salt-N-Pepa, Shaboozey, Blake Shelton and The Voice winner Alexia Jayy. Peacock and NBC will air a fireworks show on July 4 starting at 8 pm ET.

Five Star Weekend may be the biggest Peacock Original to land on the air this July, if we’re talking purely about star power. This series, which is a sea read in the form of TV, is based on the novel by Elin Hilderbrand and stars Jennifer Garner as Hollis Shaw, a woman who invites four friends, played by D’Arcy Carden, Gemma Chan, Regina Hall and ChloĆ« Sevigny, to her home in Nantucket for a nice weekend away. But there are secrets buried in this friendship, and you know they’re bound to come out. All eight episodes of the series will air simultaneously on July 9.

Reminders About Her is another theme based on a bestseller. This one is adapted from a book by Colleen Hoover and stars Maika Monroe as Kenna, a woman who has just been paroled after serving six years for vehicular manslaughter, the result of an accident that killed her boyfriend. Now living in her boyfriend’s hometown, she tries to reconnect with her family, who are raising her daughter, and finds possible support from her best friend (Tyriq Withers). The cast also includes Lainey Wilson, Lauren Graham and Bradley Whitford. The film will arrive exclusively at Peacock on July 10.

One of the most extreme dating reality shows out there, Married At First Sight features couples whose first meeting is at the altar, and they see things take off from there. The series spent 18 seasons on A&E before moving to Peacock, where the 20th season will arrive on July 12.
