Man Utd are set to officially bid farewell to Marcus Rashford as a secret £40m deal has emerged

Manchester United have now told all but two clubs in the world that they can sign one of their players on the cheap this summer.
The Red Devils are in dire straits ahead of the summer transfer window and have already agreed a deal to sign Ederson from Atalanta. The Brazilian will start his summer business and rebuilding Michael Carrick’s stadium, which may have some familiar names.
Next to Ederson, Man United also did not give up hope by signing Elliot Anderson. Nottingham Forest are seeking a British record transfer fee for an England international this summer and have already rejected a verbal offer from Manchester City, which would have reached £120m with add-ons.
Better signing than Summerville: £40m star now keen to join Man Utd
Man Utd may have the edge when it comes to their signings next summer.
Mateus Fernandes is also one to watch. Currently, West Ham United cost a whopping $85m. How long they will be able to maintain that in the Championship is the question Man United will ask, as Old Trafford officials expect a cheap deal.
Of course, fundraising for such an addition will also play an important part in the club’s summer spending. This could see the likes of Manuel Ugarte leave, joining Rasmus Hojlund on permanent loan at Napoli.
No one represents a big name heading for the exit door, however, and Man United are now naming their price for selling one of their most popular players.

Man Utd is the name of the price of Rashford
After Barcelona spent around £69m to sign Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United, the big question man will be Marcus Rashford.
He has enjoyed an excellent loan spell at the Nou Camp, but is yet to be rewarded with a permanent move. This may put several clubs on guard.
According to Fabrizio Romano, every club in the world has a chance to sign Rashford this summer except for Liverpool and Man City.
This is due to a secret release clause earlier in his contract that allows him to join any other club for £40m outright.
“There is a release clause in Rashford’s contract that applies to all clubs except Man City and Liverpool. It costs £40m, it is available to any interested party.” – Romano
While Man City and Liverpool were denied a good chance, others came around. The England international was involved in 28 goals in all competitions last season, with 14 goals and 14 assists, and could end the summer as a World Cup winner.
At £40m, the 28-year-old could be a bargain in the summer if the right move comes along.
