Khaldoon Al Mubarak outlines Man City’s summer transfer plans
It will be a summer of change at Man City, with Pep Guardiola enjoying 10 successful years as manager, with Enzo Maresca reportedly set to step into the 55-year-old’s shoes.
However, while Maresca has yet to be officially announced, Khaldoon Al Mubarak has revealed that the club have already set their summer transfer plans, and they don’t plan to waste time.
The chairman said: “And as we have always shown, and I think this is important for us to always know this Club, we are organized, we think carefully and sometimes when we need to decide and take the first step, we will do that and that is exactly what we did in these two cases.
“I think that in the summer, we know exactly what we want to do, we know exactly who we mean and I promise you, as usual, we will run our business and work well, [and] as soon as possible.”
There could also be a move, with Savinho looking to play under Roberto De Zerbi at Tottenham Hotspur, and the Brazilian defender on the verge of a move to London, with City looking ahead to a new striker.
Man City want to sign “the most talented player in the Premier League”
According to journalist, Alan Nixon (via Gipe Me Sport), Man City is in the race to sign Everton star, Iliman Ndiaye, who may want to go to the Etihad Stadium, even if he is given a regular place in the XI.
Ndiaye is about to represent Senegal in the World Cup where he will hope to win the jersey of those who want him, but Everton may demand a lot of money because he is one of David Moyes’ key players.
The only right winger left the club last season when he was running to represent Senegal in Afcon, he managed to score six goals and three assists in 32 Premier League games.
The 26-year-old, who earns £45k-a-week, also received criticism from team-mate Vitalii Mykolenko, who said in April: “Just play with his feet, to make it easier.
“Then he will create everything from a few yards, he just needs a few meters, if you have seen his ability is amazing, I don’t like playing with players like him.
“If you play football to him, he can do everything, he can create, he can do anything with the ball. I think he is the most talented player in the Premier League right now.
However. AFC Bournemouth star Eli Junior Kroupi is also a target for Man City, and the 19-year-old could be a better signing, considering he is younger than Ndiaye who is only 19 years old, and the Frenchman scored 13 Premier League goals last season.
