INEOS are preparing a £34m bid to sign the Man Utd star

Manchester United are now preparing a formal bid to sign Julian Ryerson from Borussia Dortmund this summer.

Man Utd read formal offer for Ryerson

A win over Brentford has all but taken Man United over the line in the Champions League qualification race. They now sit in sixth place with 11 points behind Brighton & Hove Albion with only four games left to play.

Michael Carrick’s finished work is incredibly impressive and remains part of the permanent gig.

With Champions League football expected, INEOS has a great opportunity to receive significant improvements in the coming months, one year after transforming Man United’s attack.

Meanwhile, those at Old Trafford have several priorities. Not only are they focused on welcoming star midfielders, Sandro Tonali and Elliot Anderson are the only two top targets, but they are also looking to welcome the development of Diogo Dalot.

According to reports in Germany, as relayed by TEAMtalk, INEOS are now studying an official bid to sign Ryerson from Borussia Dortmund for Man United this summer.

The right-back has been in excellent form this season, with 16 assists in all competitions, and could be a strong starter ahead of Dalot.

Known as “brilliant” by Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl, Ryerson is reportedly worth around €40m (£35m) in Germany – a price within Man United’s range.

Man Utd have made their move to sign a massive £86m upgrade at Tchouameni

Aurelien Tchouameni is not the only big-money midfielder Manchester United are considering.

Although it won’t be a priority for them this summer, there is no denying that the defender will add another attacking dimension to the Red Devils next season and at a low price.

Carrick “will be” Man Utd manager, says Carragher

After initial doubts following difficult results against Leeds United and Bournemouth, Carrick responded in brilliant fashion – beating Chelsea and Brentford to strengthen Man United’s Champions League chances.

Jamie Carragher now believes he will get the job permanently at the end of the season following what he described as “strange results”.

“He will be the manager of Manchester United, next season, without a doubt about that – and you can’t say he doesn’t deserve it. It’s a really impressive result. It’s the result of a team that wins the title, or a team that’s going to play in the league.

“Now I know that the pressure is not on Manchester United at the moment, they don’t have European games, all these other things will come into play, but I don’t think anyone could come and do better results wise.”

Some will worry about the return of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but there is no denying that Carrick has got the chance to lead Man United next season. He pulled the Red Devils from the chaos of Ruben Amorim to the joy of qualifying for the Champions League in the space of a few months.
