I Took 200 Photos With The Motorola Razr Ultra And Here’s What I Learned

Razr Ultra 2026 has three 50 megapixel cameras: wide-angle, ultrawide and selfie. This photo was taken with ultrawide. All of the cameras are the same as those on last year’s Razr Ultra, but the main camera has a new type of sensor.

The main camera has a LOFIC sensor that helps retain details and colors in the bright parts of the image such as the bright sunlight in this photo.

The Razr Ultra doesn’t have a dedicated telephoto lens, but most photos taken at 2x or 3x zoom, like this, come out decent.

The Razr Ultra uses a lot of sharpening for photos. Note the fur on the cat’s belly.

The Razr Ultra and its new LOFIC sensor really shine in the scenes during the golden hour.

Also, the Razr Ultra does a good job of balancing the slightly dark interior with the bright scene outside the window.

I love the different textures captured in this picture of an old rusty truck.

Night Vision, Motorola’s name for night mode, has really improved with the Razr Ultra 2026.

One of the best parts of any Razr clamshell phone is that it can act as its own tripod. I can use the cover screen as a preview and trigger the self-timer by holding my palm on the camera.

I dig how this wide angle camera distorts scenes. It’s just enough to look amazing without looking fishy.

The front of the restaurant and the tattoo art-like logo appear in this photo.

This shot of pouring coffee from a macro camera was taken under a mix of daylight and warm light.

Here’s another variable scope scene nailed by the Razr Ultra. It kept the photographer, Celso Bulgatti of CNET, in plain sight while filming the scene outside the windows.

Images from the main camera have oversaturated colors.

That big filling isn’t always a bad thing, like in this photo of a dessert from Dandelion Chocolate in San Francisco.

Love how the Razr Ultra captured the interior of this bookstore.

The scene was backlit and the Razr Ultra maximized the shadows and color saturation.

The colors in these sunflowers are really enhanced. In life, they didn’t drink that much.

This was taken at 4x digital zoom.

The new LOFIC sensor kept the sky in this image from blowing out white.

The black-and-white exterior doodle design is the perfect theme for the updated Razr Ultra camera.

Overall, the camera setup on the Razr Ultra 2026 is good. It has a few shortcomings that I hope Motorola can fix with updates.
