Sen. Lindsey Graham, RS.C., is looking ahead to more US strikes against Iran, suggesting that a larger, but shorter effort to target the Islamic Republic’s “war machine” would be in order.
In Monday’s Public Truth message President Donald Trump announced, “Iran has taken shots at unrelated nations in connection with Ship Movement, PROJECT FREEDOM, including a South Korean Cargo Ship. Maybe it’s time for South Korea to come and join the campaign! We shot down seven small boats or, as they like to call them, ‘fast’ Boats. Nothing else, no damage done to South Korea. I’m crossing the Strait.”
Sharing a screenshot of Trump’s post, Graham acknowledged in a Monday post on X.
“Spot on, Mr. President. The combination of Iran’s attack on the UAE’s critical infrastructure and the ongoing attack on international shipping, including a South Korean cargo ship, in addition to producing a large, strong and short response to inflict further damage on Iran’s war machine,” Graham said in his column for X.

“The UAE has been a leading ally in this war, doing everything that is asked of it and beyond. Iran’s recent attack against the UAE tells me a lot about who is in charge in Iran and the possibility of a diplomatic solution anytime soon. A strong response on behalf of our ally, the UAE, will confirm that America is back as a reliable ally, helping to clean up the Biden specter.
Helicopters were used “this morning to destroy six small Iranian boats,” said Adm. Brad Cooper who is the commander of the US Central Command (CENTCOM) on Monday.

Iran’s foreign minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi declared in an X post, “The events in Hormuz make it clear that there is no military solution to the political crisis. As the talks progress with Pakistan’s benevolent effort, the US must be wary of being drawn back into the mess by ill-informed people. So should the UAE. Project Freedom is Project Deadlock.
The AAA national average price for regular gas rose to $4.483 as of Tuesday.
“To the American people: I know gas prices are high and I know we’re suffering right now. But you pay now or you pay later against criminals like Iran. They tried to get a nuclear weapon, and if you don’t believe that you shouldn’t be allowed to drive in your town,” Graham said during a Monday night appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity.”
