Google Pixel 11 Rumor Roundup: New Colors, Higher Prices and More Leaks

It’s also time for Google to reveal its next wave Pixel phones. The company has sent out invitations for A Google event has been created that will happen in Aug. 12 in New York at 6 pm ET, where it will present a new Pixel 11 series and power Pixel 5 watch.
As the event is upon us, there are many rumors, speculations and leaks about what Google is planning to announce. At the very least, we expect updates to the entire Pixel lineup — we’ll likely see the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
Google is expected to announce unique Android features on the Pixel 11, at least initially, to help it stand out from the competition. The Pixel 11 lineup is shaping up to be a showcase for Google’s AI programs, for example, so we expect that to be a big focus at the event.
Here’s everything we know about the Pixel 11 series so far.
Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
Release Date and Price
Since the Google event will take place on Aug. 12, the Pixel 11 series will likely be available a few weeks after that. Last year, the Pixel 10 list dropped in late August, when the Pro Fold he arrived in October. The same could happen again this year.
It looks like Pixel 11 pricing will be higher across the board, but for different reasons. Android Authority has apparently leaked some deleted Amazon listings that confirm earlier rumors from Deallabs that Google will release a 128GB storage model in the Pixel 11 lineup. That, of course, raises the starting price from that of the 256GB model across the series.
The deleted Amazon listing shows that the price of the Pixel 11 starts at $899, the same as the comparable 256GB Pixel 10. The price of the Pixel 11 Pro appears to start at $1,099, the same as the comparable 256GB Pixel 11 Pro. Interestingly, the 256GB Pixel 11 Pro comes with 12GB of RAM while the top configuration comes with 16GB of RAM.
But premium Pixel models, such as the Pixel 11 Pro XL and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, will have a higher price increase than that, possibly because of the current one. lack of memory problem. The aforementioned Amazon listing, which Droid Life was able to capture, shows that the Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold will start at $1,299 and $1,899 respectively. That’s $100 more than their Pixel 10 predecessors.
Like the 11 Pro, the 256GB Pixel 11 Pro XL appears to ship with 12GB of RAM while the top configuration comes with 16GB of RAM.
This is in line with previous speculation that the Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold will cost 100 euros more than their Pixel 10 counterparts.
The Pixel 11 is thought to have the same design as the Pixel 10 (seen here), but with a new Pixel Glow feature.
Design differences
So far, leaks have shown that the Pixel 11 phones are exactly the same as their predecessors. That means a 6.3-inch display on the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro, a 6.8-inch display on the Pro XL and a 6.4-inch external display on the Pro Fold (although the leaked Amazon listing appears to show a 6.5-inch external display instead). Android News has found leaked CAD images that seem to point to the Pixel 11 with thinner bezels and a darker camera bar, but overall the changes appear to be minimal.
The biggest change seems to be something called “Pixel Glow,” which appears to be an LED system that highlights the Pixel’s cameras. According to 9to5Google, Pixel Glow will use “subtle light and color on the back of your device to alert you of important activity when it’s face down.” It sounds like a nice notification LED that will show you the type of notification you’re getting while the phone is face down.
Apparently this feature has already been teased by I/O (via Android Central) although it could be an AI-generated image meant to showcase Gemini Omni’s capabilities. There are also alleged Pixel 11 cases with wider camera cutouts to accommodate the new LED array, which adds credence to the Pixel Glow rumors.
According to another leak, the Pixel 11 will come in these colors: Sterling light (grey), midnight mist (black), fuschia (pink) and moss (green). Other models will be available in midnight mist, light mist (white), dune (pink) and pine (green) depending on stock availability.
The aforementioned leaked Amazon listing, however, indicates that the Pixel 11 will be available in frost, pistachio, hibiscus and obsidian. It also shows the 11 Pro and Pro XL in canyon and obsidian, and the 11 Pro Fold in olive and obsidian.
Pixel 11 phones may be getting a new camera upgrade.
Rumored specifications, battery and performance
According to the insider Mystic Leaks (via Android Authority), the Pixel 11 is rumored to have a 50-megapixel sensor, which is an upgrade over the Pixel 10’s 48-megapixel sensor. Although this may seem like a difference of 2 megapixels, this brings the base Pixel more in line with the Pro-level pixels, providing higher resolution and greater zoom flexibility. All Pixel 11 phones appear to have 13-megapixel front-facing cameras
Interestingly, Mystic Leaks also claims that the base Pixel 11 may only have 8GB of RAM instead of 12GB. They say there might be a version with 12GB of RAM, but it might be more expensive. This is in stark contrast to the leaked Amazon listing that shows the Pixel 11 with 12GB of RAM across the board.
The leaked Amazon listing seems to indicate that the Pixel 11 will be available in 256GB and 512GB configurations while the Pixel 11 Pro, Pro XL and Pro Fold will be available in 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. As mentioned before, it seems that there is a difference in RAM with the Pro and Pro XL, with 256GB versions of those shipping with 12GB of RAM while the higher storage variant will ship with 16GB of RAM. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold appears to have 16GB of RAM in all its configurations.
The new Pixel 11 phones are expected to ship with Google’s improved 2nm Tensor G6 chipset, which points to better power efficiency. Google is apparently switching from Samsung Exynos modems to MediaTek M90 modems, as shown in this FCC filing of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
The aforementioned leaked Amazon listing shows the battery capacity of the Pixel 11 lineup as follows: The Pixel 11 will have a 4,985-mAh battery, the Pixel 11 Pro is shown with a 4,850-mAh battery, the Pixel 11 Pro XL has a 5,115-mAh battery and the Proxel is seen with a 5,115-mAh battery. 4,750-mAh battery.
We’ll continue to update this roundup as we hear more about the Pixel 11 series, leading up to the Made by Google event on Aug. 12.
