‘Euphoria’ Season 3 review: It should be good. On the contrary, it is bad.

From drug trafficking to Hollywood moves, here’s what’s going on in each Euphoria bullets when you jump. Keep in mind that several characters from Seasons 1 and 2, such as Kat (Barbie Ferreira), Gia (Storm Reid), Ethan (Austin Abrams), and McKay (Algee Smith), are no longer on the show. We will focus more on the fate of the remaining characters in Season 3.

Rue has been with it from the end of Season 2. A few years out of high school, he was working at a smokehouse, but was followed by drug dealer Laurie (Martha Kelly). It turns out that the $10,000 Rue owed in Season 2 is still on Laurie’s mind, so much so that she calculates that, with outrageous interest and inflation, Rue’s net worth has ballooned to $43 million.

Don’t worry, Laurie is a generous a drug lord and will gladly pay $100,000. Does Rue really have to pay that? For being Laurie’s drug mule. He regularly travels to Mexico, swallows small bags of drugs, and brings them back to the US hidden in his intestines. When it comes Euphoria in time-jump travel, it is among the darkest.

Lexi Howard

Maude Apatow

Rue is still in touch with Lexi (Maude Apatow). After writing a play that caused an uproar in the East Highlands, he is now living his dream as a writer in Hollywood. She works as a writer’s assistant to Patty Lance (Sharon Stone), an “industry legend” who hosts a late-night soap. LA Night.

Maddy Perez

Lexi is not alone Euphoria a character trying to make it big in the entertainment industry. Maddy (Alexa Demie) is also in trouble. He is a talent manager for influencers and actors, incl LA Night “heartbroken” Dylan Reid (Homer Gere). In theory, management is the perfect job for someone as confident and influential as Maddy. But based on episode 1, it seems the position isn’t as fulfilling or lucrative as he hoped.

Cassie Howard

Sydney Sweeney

While her sister worked in Hollywood, Cassie was content in a “right-wing suburban bubble.” She and Nate (Jacob Elordi) are engaged and preparing for their wedding (which I’m sure will be a fun and healthy event for everyone involved). He is also trying to become famous with TikTok and Instagram. In the near future, she hopes to branch out to OnlyFans, where she thinks she’ll be able to make enough money to pay for the $50,000 wedding flowers she wants. And if you think Euphoria creator Sam Levinson will handle the work of sex on the Internet with any kind of nuance going forward, I can assure you, it is not.

Nate has taken over his father’s (Eric Dane) contracting business and is trying to build a large, profitable development. However, according to Rue, he realizes that it is really difficult to build in Southern California, which can lead to financial problems on the ground. That didn’t stop him from buying a Cybertruck, though, because of course Nate Jacobs will drive the Cybertruck.

Jules Vaughn

We don’t really see Jules (Hunter Schafer) in the middle Euphoria‘s Season 3, but he’s currently in art school. And, as we learn through the grapevine, he is a sugar baby. Any other details are a mystery for now.

Fezco O’Neill

Actor Angus Cloud, who played drug dealer Fezco, died in 2023. Euphoria Season 3 keeps her character alive off-screen. As season 3 begins, he is serving a prison sentence following the SWAT raid on his house at the end of season 2. He is still in touch with Rue.

The decision to keep Fezco on the show after Cloud’s passing, Levinson said The Hollywood Reporter“I couldn’t keep him alive in real life, but I could keep his character alive on the show. I kept him alive, and the character has a great arc. I think he would be very proud of it.”

New episodes of Euphoria airs Sundays at 9 pm ET.
