Drew Carey criticized Spencer Pratt’s run for mayor of Los Angeles in an obscure social media post.
The “Price is Right” host got into politics with a Threads post and encouraged LA residents to think again before the June primaries.
“Anyone who votes for, or endorses Spencer Pratt for Mayor of LA needs to get their head out of the –,” Carey wrote.
“I understand the anger/dissatisfaction, but at least I followed someone with talent and not some scumbag with no soul or moral compass.”

He added, “F–k this guy already.”
Representatives for Pratt and Carey did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
Pratt, 42, has been a champion of LA citizens since he lost his home during the 2025 Palisades wildfire, and launched his mayoral campaign in January focused on ousting incumbent Karen Bass over the mismanagement of LA’s fires.

“The Hills” star, along with wife Heidi Montag and more than a dozen other property owners, accused the city of Los Angeles and the Department of Water and Power (LADWP) of causing damage to their homes in a lawsuit filed earlier this year.

The plaintiffs accuse LADWP of making a “discretionary decision to use a water supply system with a reservoir that can be used as a ‘conservation’ method,” in a lawsuit obtained by Fox News Digital.
More than a week before the primaries, Pratt urged residents to “think big about LA” in a post shared Sunday.

“We must not accept dirt and degradation,” he wrote. “We have the biggest piece of heaven on Earth and our city, and we deserve better. Vote for Pratt. Vote HERE. Vote TODAY. Let’s clean this city together.”
Pratt’s campaign has been at odds with party lines, with his opponents criticizing his registered Republican position and the recent nod from President Donald Trump.

“Oh, I’d like to see him do well. He’s a character,” Trump told reporters last week at Joint Base Andrews.
“I don’t know him. I think he probably supports me. Do you support me?” Trump asked a reporter.
Trump questioned whether Pratt could win the election in California because of the “rogue” voting system.

“I don’t know if, you know, if you have a skewed vote out there. That’s the problem. The votes are mixed. You have a really skewed vote in California,” he said. “You have all the mail-in ballots, and everything else. It’s very hard to win because the election is so unreliable. If we had Jesus Christ come down and count the votes, I would have won California because I did so well with Hispanics. But it’s an altered vote.”
Despite the outcry, Pratt admitted he’s in the race for the people, not the team.

“Everybody’s trying to call me their tribe,” Pratt wrote to social media fans on Saturday.
“There is no R next to my name, there is no D next to my name. I am not part of a political party, because I hate politicians.”

He added, “I’m just Spencer, husband to Heidi, father to Ryker and Gunner, and I’m an angry Angeleno who loves my city and is fed up with what corrupt politicians have done to her.”

Although Pratt is a registered Republican, the Los Angeles mayoral race is officially nonpartisan. If no candidate wins 50% in the June 2 primary, the top two finishers will face off in November.
