Crysencio Summerville will choose between Aston Villa, Tottenham, Man Utd and Roma
Aston Villa are now planning to hijack AS Roma to sign West Ham United star Crysencio Summerville.
After their relegation from the Premier League, it was always going to be difficult for West Ham to catch Summerville, and they put themselves in the window shop and more by entertaining the Netherlands in the World Cup.
Despite Oranje being knocked out by Morocco in the round of 32, the defender had plenty of time to catch the eye, scoring two goals and providing two assists in four games.
The 24-year-old was following a strong 2025-26 campaign in the Premier League, where he tallied five goals and four assists in 31 appearances.

According to a report from Sky Italia, Roma are ready to submit a €48m (£40m) bid for Summerville, who has the same agent as Aston Villa’s Lamare Bogarde, but now face competition for the Midlands outfit.
Villa are strongly interested in signing the Dutchman, who will make a decision on his next move soon.
Indeed, after returning from Miami on Thursday, the former Leeds United man will choose his next club, with Tottenham Hotspur also interested, while Manchester United have just opened formal negotiations.
Reporter Ben Jacobs added: “Spurs and Manchester United both love Summerville. Now it’s back in the World Cup, I think it can go out.
“West Ham’s view is that they do not see the need to sell financially, but there will be a player situation to consider and Summerville do not want to play in the Championship.”
