ClassDojo Expands Beyond the Classroom with New Tools for the Whole School

In response to feedback from teachers and district leaders, ClassDojo announced a new set of capabilities that help principals and school leaders connect with families, strengthen school connections, and manage all employee access in one place.

For years, teachers have known ClassDojo as a reliable classroom communication tool. Today’s announcement marks the company’s continued development into a school-wide platform designed to support administrators, teachers, students, and families across school communities.

New capabilities include multi-channel announcements (including email, text, voice, and the mobile app), built-in Canva newsletter creation, one-click social media posting, school-wide engagement dashboards, and new tools for middle and high school staff to connect directly with students—giving school leaders new ways to reach families and students, share school news, reinforce school values, recognize and reinforce student behavior, and nurture and reinforce habits. of students. results.

  • Support the unique needs of high schools with a mature user experience, multi-classroom communication tools, and secure teacher-to-student messaging for relevant schools.

The enhancements are designed to help school leaders address one of their most pressing goals: building stronger connections between schools and families. Messages in ClassDojo are automatically translated into over 190 languages, helping schools communicate more effectively with multilingual families and ensuring that more parents and carers can stay informed and engaged in their children’s education.

The release also expands ClassDojo’s support for middle schools and high schools, introducing tools and information designed specifically for secondary teachers, students, and families.

All new school leader features will be available for the 2026–27 school year. ClassDojo will continue to be free for schools, teachers, and families.
