Best anti-Prime Day competitor sales: Best Buy, Target, Walmart, and more

Content

While Black Friday is still the top dog when it comes to online shopping holidays, Amazon Prime Day is close behind. Aside from it being an official Amazon shopping holiday for Prime members, a number of other retailers are running huge sales to try to get some of that shopper traffic. But can any of these anti-Prime Day sales actually compete with the real deal? Which competitors for sale should you buy? We have everything planned for you.

BTW, Amazon Prime Day runs from June 23 to 26 in 2026. Most competitive sales go through these days in some capacity, but many last longer and/or start before Amazon’s big day. Whether you want to expand your horizons this Prime Day, find all the best deals from every retailer, or avoid Amazon altogether (we get it), here’s a list of all the best Prime Day deals to shop, with key dates and top deals to watch.

Best Buy

  • Important dates you should know: June 22 – June 28

  • Top deals to watch: laptops, TVs, gaming gear, headphones, small appliances

Best Buy is having a week-long “Tech Fest” sale from June 22nd to 28th, 2026. Historically Amazon’s biggest competitor when it comes to tech deals, Amazon outbids Best Buy by literally pennies in most cases. However, if you’re looking for laptops, TVs, gaming gear, or small electronics, Best Buy is the place to shop. The dealer’s inventory is complete in all these departments. Not to mention, Best Buy often stocks older devices that Amazon no longer carries. For example, check out this $300 discount on the featured Apple M4 MacBook Air.

Walmart

  • Important dates you should know: June 22 – June 28

  • Top deals to watch: home goods, floor care, toys, outdoor gear, budget TVs, Apple accessories

The anti-Prime Day Walmart Summer Deals event will run from June 22 to 28, similar to the Best Buy sale. Walmart’s past sales have highlighted great deals on Apple accessories, budget TVs (the cheapest QLED TV we saw last Big Day), floor care from top brands like Dyson and Shark, toys (including Lego), and amazing outdoor gear.

The target

  • Important dates you should know: June 23 – June 26

  • Top deals to watch: kitchen gadgets, books, outdoor gear, back-to-school essentials, clothing

Target will take on Amazon this year, with its Circle Deal Days event running from June 23 to 26. Like Amazon, you must be a Circle member to shop the best deals. Unlike Amazon, it’s free to join. As with previous Circle shopping events, this year’s anti-Prime Day sale at Target will feature “Deal of the Day” offers, which are only available for 24 hours. Be aware of these every day. Other notable offers include up to 45% off select kitchen gadgets from Cuisinart, Keurig, and Ninja, up to 45% off floor care from Bissell and Hoover, 40% off back-to-school essentials, and 40% off select apparel and beauty products.

The Home Depot

  • Important dates you should know: June 11 – June 24, June 25 – July 8

  • Top deals to watch: cordless tools, grills, lawn care, outdoor gear

The Home Depot started a Father’s Day sale earlier this month and will wrap up through Father’s Day on June 24. From then on, items will switch to a July 4th sale that runs through July 8. If you’re looking for cordless tools, lawn mowers, outdoor cookware, or DIY tools and storage, this is the sale to shop. Early deals already include free DeWalt cordless tools, and we’ll likely see more freebies in the coming days.

Another great anti-Prime Day sale

  • DreamCloud: 4th of July sale, up to 60% off mattresses + 66% off bundles

  • Dyson: Special savings event June 21 – June 27

  • Govee: Prime Day Sale, up to 53% off

  • IKEA: Summer sale, up to 50% off until July 2

  • Shark/Ninja: Summer savings event, up to $150 off

  • Ulta: Summer beauty sale, up to 40% off through July 11
