Open Round 1 tee times: What you need to know
If there is one tournament that Tommy Fleetwood would like to win in his career, it is probably the 2026 Open Championship. Why? Because the PGA Tour star grew up nearby, he sometimes sneaks onto the Royal Birkdale course with his father.
Fleetwood now heads into his second Birkdale Open in fine form. He picked up his first tour win at last year’s Tour Championship. So far this season, he has six top-10 finishes and three top-five finishes. At last month’s US Open, Fleetwood was on a roll and finished T11.
This week, Fleetwood envisions a memorable first big win in front of their hometown fans.
Fleetwood will start his Open on Thursday at 5:09 am ET along with Jordan Spieth and Jon Rahm.
