The Rangers are ready to sell Emmanuel Fernandez; West Ham scouts spotted at Ibrox

Rangers are now ready to sell one of Danny Rohl’s mainstays for a quick profit this summer, with scouts from West Ham United watching.

“Good” watchers have a belief in the title, says Rohl

There are many more twits to come from the Scottish Premiership this season. Although Hearts remain top of the league and are on course for a shock title win, their 1-0 defeat against Kilmarnock left the door open for Rangers and Celtic to close.

Now that there are a few games left to play, Rangers are three points behind the lead and Celtic are two points behind. It’s very close as Scotland’s top team head into a thrilling campaign to end the campaign.

Fewer touches than Butland: The Rangers flop should not start again this season

This Rangers flop must not start again this season after his St Mirren performance.

With hearts fluttering, Rohl’s team remained strong against St. Mirren to win 1-0 and leave their manager smiling at the top of the league table.

“Yes, I would be lying if I said I wasn’t smiling after this (Hearts result), this is normal,” said Rohl. “But I know that we will have to bring the work again next week.

“And now it’s slowly going up and down, the team that doesn’t change until the end and take the right results, will win this league. We are happy today. I think that after three good performances without the right results, we took the result and this is the most important thing.

“When you go to a cup final, it’s about winning games and today we won the first cup final. I heard this morning when we met, there was a lot of energy in the dressing room. It was great.

“There is a lot of belief in our team, there is no doubt that we can achieve something this season, but you have to take the results and today we did. I think the table now looks better than before this match day and this is very good.”

It’s not all good news for the Gers, however. As their pursuit of potential title glory continues, West Ham appear to be eyeing a move to sign one of their most valuable stars.

West Ham are sending scouts to watch Fernandez

As reported by Alan Nixon on his Patreon, West Ham have made hand checks for Emmanuel Fernandez and Rangers are ready to cash in for a decent amount this summer.

Too bad for Rohl, who has gotten the best out of the defender since replacing Russell Martin. The 24-year-old came under fire early in his Rangers career, but has quickly become a mainstay under his current manager – playing a key role.

So, it’s easy to see why West Ham sent scouts to watch Fernandez. Although their defensive performance was impressive against Manchester City at the weekend, there is no doubt they could do with the improvements the Rangers man will provide.

Just what the ‘right price’ is for Rangers remains a big question. Given that they signed Fernandez for around £3m, they will be looking for a big deal this summer.
