A video of a Texas bed fall has millions of views on social media

Horrifying video shows the moment a bed in a Texas home opens, sending a little girl flying over the bed as the metal frame falls on her little brother.
The upper bed, which had been raised by irons, turned upside down when it fell, nearly impaling the little boy.
In less than a second, the girl jumped into action, asking her brother if he was okay and busily pulling the top mattress off the child.
The girl was then heard screaming for her mother, just before her grandmother ran into the room and rescued the boy.

A third child was seen sleeping in the bed of a nearby child, before being awakened by the crash.
The viral video has garnered over 82 million views and 5 million likes on TikTok, with over 50,000 comments and an impressive 243,600 saves.
Commenters praised the older sister for quickly moving to rescue the little boy in the video, with one user writing, “Big sister mode fast.”

The comment, posted by an account called @fairytalebarbie1, received more than 550,000 likes.
Another user, named Luna, said, “all jokes aside, look at how the little girl reacted so quickly. She wasn’t even afraid of falling, she was worried about her brother’s injury.”
The top comment, by user @pretty_in_july with 950,000 likes, said, “How spikes are going EVERYWHERE.”

The children’s mother, Aurora Price, posted a video sharing a follow-up that all her children were okay, and accepted responsibility for making the bed herself.

“I was proud to build a bunk bed,” said Price. “Obviously, it’s either I did something wrong – it’s cheap, it’s from Amazon. There are a number of reasons why it might fail. I didn’t know it would.”
He later posted a screenshot of an email conversation with “VINGLI Support,” which he says is the company that makes the big bed.
The email to Price reportedly read:
“Hello Auora, We are really sorry for the security risk this has caused to your family. We take this matter very seriously. The problem was caused by some layers being shorter than normal, which led to insufficient support. We are very sorry for the fear and problem brought to you. We will do a full internal investigation to avoid similar problems. To solve this properly, we offer you two options: 1. New bed frame: Please let us know the replacement of your new bed A for free. choice, and we will arrange We apologize again and look forward to your timely response.”

Price added that he would never put his children’s safety at risk, throwing hateful comments, and clarified that his mother was the person who was seen rushing into the room after the incident.
“My mother was the one who reacted, not me” , “oh! “… She entered the room first, I was behind her, and handled the situation very calmly – which was necessary, because my daughter was already scared. His anger would have made the situation 10 times worse.”

Price described her daughter as “a huge sweetheart,” noting that the top bunk is no longer in use.
“At the end of the day, my kids are fine, and that’s all I was really asking for,” Price said.
“I know that if I had been the first to come in and see that, my God, it would have been bad,” he continued. “I would scream and cry and I—— throw myself away. … It was a very scary time.”
