Could another celebrity boxing match happen?

Legendary NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski recently called out Logan Paul, WWE star and boxer, for walking out of a boxing match with former NFL running back Le’Veon Bell.

Paul had challenged any NFL player to put him in the $1 million box, which was agreed upon before it was called. Paul says WWE doesn’t want him to risk injury without their promotion.

But Gronkowski said on “Up & Adams” that, if he and Paul were to get into a boxing ring, it would be bad for the former YouTuber.

“If Logan Paul wants a piece of me, we’re both playing in a flag football game on March 21,” Gronkowski, 36, said of the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in which the two will play at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles. “I’m going to throw on the field, I’ll even throw my fists, I’ll go out and fight on the football field. I’ll fight him on the field if he wants to fight me.”

Gronkowski added: “I’m going to take his a– out.”

Gronkowski’s “beef” with Paul echoes former New England Patriots teammate Tom Brady, who called Paul’s WWE career “great” as they developed the flag football game, which was scheduled to be played in Saudi Arabia.

The game has moved to Los Angeles amid the ongoing war in the Middle East involving the United States, Israel, Iran, and others.

“There is a clip of him [Tom Brady] he’s calling me a jerk… If any football players want to fight, we’ll see what happens,” Paul said in a social media post, echoing Gronkowski’s outcry. “I’m going to push Myles Garrett. It could be any word. Any football player, Myles Garrett, Puka Nakua, Tom Brady, Rob, Sam Darnold. $1 million, come to the gym, put on some boxing gloves, let’s see how it goes. I will throw up my hands.”

Bell, no stranger to celebrity boxing, edged out fellow NFL running back Adrian Peterson in 2023, reaching out to Paul. They seemed to have it all sorted out until WWE stepped in, according to Paul.

Maybe we’ll see some fireworks in Los Angeles next weekend, as Gronkowski, Paul, Brady and other NFL stars and famous athletes converge on BMO Stadium for the first Fanatics flag football event. Myles Garrett, Saquon Barkley, Davante Adams, Alvin Kamara, and many more will participate.

There is also the possibility that Gronkowski and Paul are on the same team, as there will be a draft on March 18. However, Brady, along with Philadelphia Eagles star Jalen Hurts, is the captain of one of the teams. Considering what both players, who are close friends and still work with FOX Sports, said, Brady may not want Paul on his team.
