“I can’t really compare with others, only the people and players I have worked with. But in my time, and as I follow or work for Liverpool, he is definitely at the top. But I don’t have to say that because you read the numbers, you already know that there is something special.”
A three-time PFA Player of the Year winner and three-time Golden Shield winner, it will certainly take a player to follow in Salah’s footsteps. By the time May arrives, he will take his place as the best player the Premier League has ever had and one of their greatest ever.
But while the glory keeps coming, Liverpool’s problem is getting closer. They are tasked with somehow replacing their King of Egypt this summer. It is their job that cannot be strengthened by the fact that they still need to sign another defender on top of that.
With Ibrahima Konate set to leave as a free agent this summer, those at Anfield have turned to the Serie A star.

AS Roma may have no choice but to cash in on the defender after reaching financial agreements with UEFA that would force them to sell key players before June 30.

Although Ndicka is available at a low price, Liverpool should question his basic numbers. The Rome man has had more recoveries and kept more clean sheets than Konate this season, but his duel success is an area of concern.
In the current Premier League environment, which demands physicality, Ndicka will need to improve on those numbers when he arrives at Anfield this summer.
