Tottenham fans angry as “too bad” shows how Cristian Romero really feels.

Tottenham Hotspur’s off-field actions were far removed from their on-field activities on Sunday, with pictures emerging that exposed one player’s mind for all to see.
Jamie Carragher urges Tottenham to “part ways” with Tudor
The build-up to the Nottingham Forest game was all about coming together. The fight against relegation from the Premier League will be done as a team, starting with the supporters. And they certainly did their part. They received the team bus with a big welcome – there would be no complaints about the toxic situation.
They listened to the cries of Cristian Romero and others after the South American urged the fans to stay together. But that announcement soon turned out to be less of a powerful appeal than a genuine message of intent.
Igor Jesus’ goal soon followed, as did Morgan Gibbs-White and Taiwo Awoniyi. Like Crystal Palace and many other games in North London this season, Spurs were beaten in front of their own fans.
Any sense that there might be a turnaround quickly evaporated and Spurs now sit just one point above the relegation zone with seven games to play. Their situation is an urgent matter.
Tottenham are considering sacking Tudor as a ‘complete’ plan is fast falling into their laps
The Lilywhites have been given the ‘perfect’ opportunity to make a change.
Therefore, questions have come about the future of Igor Tudor, including Jamie Carragher.
The former Liverpool defender told Sky Sports on Sunday: “Unfortunately depending on the situation he finds himself in with his family and the results, I think it would be best if Tottenham part ways with Tudor and look to bring in another manager between now and the end of the season.”
A new video suggests that the blame is not solely on the Croatian, however. One Spurs player failed to back up his words against Nottingham Forest.
Romero contradicted his words against Nottingham Forest
Shortly after the defeat, Romero told reporters that he would give “200 percent” to keep Tottenham in the Premier League. This happened after 90 minutes when he cried for the first time, wearing the captain’s armband. Without results, he said, efforts will not be questioned.
The video tells a different story, however. Actions speak louder than words and Romero appeared to be walking back into Gibbs-White’s goal area rather than giving even 100 per cent of his effort, let alone doubling it.
Had he followed through on his words, the Argentine defender might have prevented Forest’s second of the afternoon.
It was a terrible moment for the Spurs captain, who was not the only player to appear out of North London. Whether the new manager can change that is the big question.
The person who gets to this stage must be more of a survivalist than a stylist. Spurs will not be able to get it wrong like they did with Tudor as there is only one point left between them and the bottom three.
