After more than a week of installation, we finally arrived at our final destination on our Tour de Force golf machine with Cleveland/Srixon at the Navy Golf Course in Cypress, Calif.
Our six hitters learned a lot about their bags and their games, but there was still more to learn about the Srixon balls and irons and Cleveland wedges.
Johnny Wunder thought he was set on a golf ball until he started hitting the Srixon Z-Star Diamond ball.
What’s different about Srixon’s line of three Tour-level golf balls is that it’s not just spinny and non-spinny. All three balls can make the bottom of the bag very different, allowing you to choose which features you want to focus on.
Srixon Z-STAR DIAMOND Golf Balls
Z-STAR Series Whether you’re chasing big tournaments or chasing your next best, the new Z-STAR series is the choice for serious players everywhere. Featuring modified cores and covers across the board, this generation of Z-STAR golf balls delivers greater distance, improved spin, and tour-quality stopping power around the green. It’s a formula designed to give you one thing: pure performance where it matters most. With a combination of greenside control and long game distance, the new Z-STAR ♦ DIAMOND also delivers the unique benefit of increased spin on long and mid iron shots.

Jake, on the other hand, also found that he is equal to the Srixon ball, but the Z-Star XV is strong, something he is surprised by.
Wadeh was looking at the top of his instrument set, already coming in to play the company’s ZXi5 and ZXi7 models. He is now looking to replace the 4-iron with the ZXiU iron for an easier launch and higher flight. He already had a ZXiU 2-iron and now the 4-iron allows him to have Srixon’s VT alone in the entire bag.
Maddi also looks at the company’s ZXi5 and ZXiR while continuing to work with different shafts and weights, finally settling on 90 g steel shafts, the heaviest options he tried all week.
I’ve found all the different options for Cleveland’s RTZ wedges, which have a much softer feel with the new Z-Alloy, but the company has yet to release a new wedge since the return of legendary founder Roger Cleveland.
Meanwhile, Sean completed his apprenticeship in the world of gear, working with another set of instruments, revealing that he must have entered with the wrong instruments. So which ones end up in his bag?
While the Fully Fit gauntlet ends here, there is still more to come. Stay tuned.
