Chelsea will be in for a treat as Sunderland launch a contact to sign Hadj Moussa

Sunderland are now set to pip Chelsea in the race to sign the 11-goal striker, who have already been linked with him and have started talks with his agent.
Sunderland have opened talks to sign the attacking star
Although they have been out of European contention for a long time, Sunderland still deserve worldwide praise for the way they have settled into life back in the Premier League.
There is no doubt that the Black Cats will survive this stage of the season and that will end the bad trend of failed clubs promoted to the top division.
Le Bris has now turned on Sunderland’s new version of Amad Diallo
Sunderland are working to improve their attacking quality in the Premier League.
Those at Wearside have provided blueprints on how to safely crack the Premier League code. Now it is up to the likes of Coventry City and perhaps Middlesbrough to follow in their footsteps next season.
Sunderland, meanwhile, will have the task of avoiding a serious case of second-season syndrome. Just ask Nottingham Forest how quickly things can change in the Premier League and they will send a stern warning to the Stadium of Light.
If they are to progress, the transfer window will play a big role again – it’s a year since he broke their transfer record twice in the space of months.

Just who comes this time is the big question. Recent reports claim that Sunderland are interested in adding another attacking star this summer.
Now, according to reports in France, Sunderland have been linked with the signing of Anis Hadj Moussa from Feyenoord, starting talks with his agent and preparing to make a bid.
That could be key to a huge list of clubs looking for his signature, including North East rivals Newcastle, as well as Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Bournemouth.
Hadj Moussa will provide the head of the quick selection
Strength in depth is not a bad thing and Hadj Moussa will provide that. The Feyenoord star has enjoyed a superb campaign, scoring 11 goals and assisting a further six in all competitions to attract attention in the Premier League.
On paper, it would be easy to think that Chelsea are leading the race to sign the Algerian midfielder. They are certainly in a position to overtake Sunderland, after all.
But that couldn’t be more than that. Instead, it is Sunderland who have taken concrete steps to sign Hadj Moussa and could still beat Chelsea this summer.
The Blues are also eyeing the Feyenoord man as they look to finally add a consistent goalscorer to their side. Their reluctance to make a concrete move allowed Sunderland in, however.
Dubbed “good” by talent scout Jacek Kulig last season, Hadj Moussa is now outselling the likes of Chemsdine Talbi, who would face plenty of competition for his Sunderland place if the Algerian arrives this summer.
