The University of Michigan is not renewing the employee’s contract amid the allegations

The University of Michigan has not renewed the contract of a female football employee who allegedly had an affair with fired coach Sherrone Moore.
A university spokesperson confirmed the departure to Fox News Digital on Wednesday.
“His contract has expired and has not been renewed,” said the spokesperson.

Moore is said to have maintained an inappropriate, years-long relationship with employees, despite being married with many children.
Court documents obtained by Fox News Digital revealed allegations made by the employees’ attorney, Heidi Sharp, on the day that Moore allegedly entered his home without permission, which later led to his arrest.
Det. Jessica Welker of the Pittsfield Township Police Department testified in court that an employee called Sharp after Moore entered the home and refused to leave. Sharp then told paramedics that Moore was inside his client’s house “attacking him.”
The woman accused Moore of continuing to approach her until she was able to get her lawyer on the phone, at which point she “quickly pulled back the knives and pointed them at her neck, saying she was going to kill herself and she was going to watch.”

Moore then went to the employee’s residence and was later taken into custody by law enforcement, where he denied assaulting the employee.
The employee, whose LinkedIn profile lists him as the Senior Assistant Football Coach at the University of Michigan, earned just over $58,000 in 2023 and 2024, according to public salary data. In fiscal year 2025, his salary drops to $99,000, according to income disclosure report from the University of Michigan.
That’s a 70.62 percent increase year-over-year — more than the number currently circulating on social media, per UMSalary.info.

Moore, who faces felony counts of home invasion, stalking and trespassing, scored a legal victory last month when a judge granted a request for a hearing to learn more about the investigation that led to the criminal charges.
Judge J. Cedric Simpson, who presided, expressed concern that a police investigator did not disclose Moore’s employer-employee relationship with the woman when the magistrate approved the warrant for his arrest. Simpson described it as “a glaring omission.”
