The Red Wings still have Dylan Larkin out, defenseman Simon Edvinsson is an RFA, and forward Alex DeBrincat is entering the final season of his contract and is eligible for an extension.

Kevyn Adams (Boston Bruins senior advisor) – He took over that position with the Bruins last week, so it could be tough.
Tyler Dellow (Carolina Hurricanes assistant GM) Two years with the Hurricanes overseeing data analysis, salary cap and CBA.
Kris Draper (Red Wings assistant GM) He has been their assistant GM for the past four seasons.
Evan Gold (Bruins assistant GM) He has been there for 11 years and as of August 1st, he is leaving the organization.
Shawn Horcoff (Red Wings assistant GM) He has been their assistant GM for the past four seasons, and holds the title for Grand Rapids (AHL).
Ryan Martin (New York Rangers associate GM) Has been with the Rangers for the past five years, but has been with the Red Wings for 16 years before that, 11 as an assistant GM.
Scott White (Dallas Stars assistant GM) is Jim Nill’s right hand man. GM position talks with the Maple Leafs, Canucks, and Predators.
