Heading into Friday’s second round at the Open, plenty of big-name stars can be found near the top of the leaderboard.
There you’ll find Bryson DeChambeau (three under), Cameron Young (three under), defending champion Scottie Scheffler (two under) and Collin Morikawa (two under), to name a few.
But the name that rose above all others Thursday was one golf fans may not know: Jackson Suber.
The 26-year-old American surprised everyone when he shot a 65 on Day 1 at Royal Birkdale. That gave Suber one shot to Round 2, but with more fire on his tail.
You can watch the second round of the Open Championship on TV via USA, which will begin its telecast at 4 am ET on Friday morning. Before that, Peacock will open the broadcast at 1:30 a.m. ET. Peacock will also offer featured team coverage throughout the day on Friday.
