Newcastle have already signed more talent

More boring is the feeling of resignation, the shrugging of shoulders, as Newcastle United sees another move taken away from a Premier League rival.
Johan Manzambi will not sign for Newcastle, who have been building the groundwork for weeks to complete a £50m deal for the young Swiss international. The 20-year-old from Freiburg chose Aston Villa instead.

It’s hard to know what to say. What about there? You cheated on me once, I was disappointed. I cheated countless times, and something went terribly wrong.
That name robbery is sadly associated with Eddie Howe and Newcastle, but little consolation can be taken from the fact that there is plenty of time for the decision-makers to speed up a deal for one of their other targets.
How can Newcastle solve their Manzambi problem
Newcastle’s midfield uncertainty has been thrown into serious doubt by Bruno Guimaraes’ desire to sign for Premier League champions Arsenal.
Sandro Tonali has already been sold to Tottenham Hotspur for £100m, so it is vital that the Magpies supply Howe’s engine room with new, high-quality parts.
For example, Monaco’s Lamine Camara has been interested for a while, so why not bite the bullet and speed up the plans?
Reports from Italy on Sunday claim that the Toon have retained interest in Atalanta’s Ederson now that a proposed move to Manchester United for the Brazilian has collapsed.
Content creator Damiano Er Faina has even hailed him as “the most powerful midfielder in the world”, and with United out of the equation, there’s a sense that Howe and co could win here, if they can step up their interest in the £35m-rated midfielder.
Newcastle have plenty of top-class talent in their ranks, but need to add experience. However, fans can rest assured that their club’s long-term future is secure, as the star player has already been signed this summer.
Newcastle have already signed a bigger talent than Manzambi
Manzambi is only 20 years old, but has the physicality, athleticism and technical quality to make an immediate impact in the Premier League. It’s frustrating, to be sure, but Newcastle must turn to another goal.
The Swiss World Cup star has the potential to become a real star, but Newcastle are likely to make their biggest signing this summer in Sean Steur, who joined from Ajax for a fee of up to £23m.

Steur is only 18 years old, but is already showing plenty of ability as a senior player, starting 14 Eredivisie games and winning challenges and creating passing patterns.
In three Champions League games (two starts) he won 60% of his tackles and completed 91% of his passes, not focusing on the big league, starting with the likes of Qarabag and Villarreal.
Said Dutch football expert Michael Bell “has the potential to be world-class,” Steur’s technical command and his maturity and composure on the ball have an Oranje-esque feel to them, and could be beneficial to Tyneside.
Newcastle reporter Luke Edwards said Tonali was “average last season”, so it’s fair to say the right change could give the Tyneside outfit a lift.
More is needed, but if Steur stays afloat with a physical and mental focus, he could be a real winner in the center of the park, perhaps even surpassing Manzambi, who is two years older than him.
Manzambi’s defeat against a Premier League rival is the latest kick for a club in desperate need of a release from the transfer market.
It doesn’t sound like it will happen on Howe’s side, but they have signed a potential star in Steur, and the young Dutchman could be a force for years to come.
