Xbox Prepares To Bring Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater To Game Pass Soon

Xbox CEO Asha Sharma announced July 6 that Xbox will lay off 3,200 people, spun off at least four game studios, and said that Xbox Game Pass has not grown as expected, contributing to an unhealthy business. However, Microsoft announced on July 7 that Xbox Game Pass will receive a number of new games in July, including the complete release of Palworld.

Xbox Game Passa CNET Editors’ Choice award, offers a wide selection of games to play on your Xbox Series XXbox Series S, Xbox One and PC or a mobile device for less $10 per month. And by subscribing to the premium Game Pass Ultimate ($23 per month), you can access hundreds of games, including new ones the day they are released, each month.

Here are all the games that Game Pass subscribers will be able to play soon.

Gears of War: Reloaded

New to Game Pass Premium. Previously Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

The title card for Gears of War: Reloaded shows four people behind a red, glowing wall. Behind the wall are burning buildings.

Microsoft

The original game in the Gears of War series is back with a new, remastered edition. The game tells the story of Marcus Fenix and his group of hardliners as they face off against hordes of alien locusts. It includes bonus campaign action, every map and multiplayer mode as well as characters and cosmetics that are unlocked through progression.

Palworld (Full Release)

Now on Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass

More than two years after people heard about Palworld, you will be able to play the full Pokemon-esque game. In this open world adventure, you can use weapons to collect more than 100 creatures, called Pals. Then you can use your Pals to fight bosses or do tasks for you.

This game has faced a lot of criticism since it started to stay on the scene. Nintendo sued the studio behind Palworld shortly after the game’s release, and Palworld’s developer then removed certain aspects of the game due to Nintendo’s legal pressure. Despite those issues, Game Pass subscribers will be able to play the game soon.

Pro Skater 1 and 2 by Tony Hawk

Coming to Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass on July 21.

I remember chasing the first Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games on the Nintendo 64 in the late 90s and early 2000s. And now I can relive those memories with remakes of those classic games. This game has the same great skating and the same great soundtrack — with a few fun additions — all with improved graphics and modern gameplay.
