July’s Biggest Premieres on Hulu Include ‘Bayalwa,’ Twisty Crime Thriller ‘Furious’ and More

HuluThe popularity can be attributed to its large collection of old TV shows as well moviesand other great original shows, including Only Killers in the Building, Paradise and Handicrafts. The platform’s partnership with FX has also produced some of the platform’s most acclaimed and popular shows, including The Bear, Reservation Dogs and Shogun.

Hulu has one of the most diverse programming slates this month, including sports, music, docuseries and sitcoms. You can catch the first broadcast of the annual ESPY Awards on July 16 on the platform to watch some of the biggest sports stars of the year receive their flowers, or watch the new boxing drama The Fighters, starring Andre Holland and Wendell Pierce, based on the true story of boxing trainer Walt Manigan. The Devil Wears Prada 2 will be on July 29, the same day it arrives on Disney Plus.

The new crime series Furious, starring Emmy Rossum, arrives this month, as does a special episode of the comedy FX Adults. And after last month’s Bonnaroo live stream, you can watch all days of Lollapalooza live from Grant Park in Chicago on the streamer.

Here’s a look at when you can watch these titles and other new releases from Hulu this July.

July 1

Disney/Hulu

Abandoned is a Spanish book now available on Hulu about three brothers who were found abandoned in a Barcelona train station in 1984. Unable to explain who they were or who their parents were, they were finally adopted by a new family. After 40 years, those children tried to find out who their parents were and why they were abandoned. This four-part series seeks to reveal the truth about what really happened all those years ago. Abandoned was released earlier this year in Spain and arrives on Hulu in the US on July 1.

July 16

ESPN

Saturday Night Live star Marcello Hernandez will host the 2026 ESPYs, premiering Wednesday, July 15 at 8 pm ET on ABC and ESPN Plus. The show will air the next day on Hulu and Disney Plus. The annual awards show will be broadcast live from Lincoln Center in New York City and, in addition to honoring all of the year’s most important athletes and their contributions, special honorees will include the late basketball star Jason Collins, former MLB pitcher Jim Abbott and US Coast Guard rescue swimmer Scott Ruskan.

July 17

Pictures of Mandalay

They Fight is a Hulu original sports drama starring Andre Holland as Walt Manigan, a boxing coach who meets a ragtag group of up-and-coming boxers after his release from prison. The film is based on the 2018 documentary of the same name, and Wendell Pierce, Samara Wiley and Mykelti Williamson also star. After premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year, the film will arrive on Hulu on July 17.

July 20

King of the Hill (Season 15)

After a 13-season run on Fox, Mike Judge’s animated series King of the Hill returns with new episodes on Hulu in 2025. The new season, in which Hank and Peggy Hill retire and deal with the antics of their now-born son Bobby, arrives on Hulu on July 20. The show features the voices of Tom Najimy, Kamela, Kamela, Kamela, Kamela, Kamela Adlon, Stephen Room, Kamela, Ed. Toby Huss, all series debuts.

July 27

Hulu

From creator and executive producer Elizabeth Meriwether, who previously created New Girl, The Dropout and Dying for Sex, Furious follows FBI agent Alice Black (Emmy Rossum), whose investigation into an unknown female killer is taken into account. The series also stars Lola Petticrew, Scoot McNairy, Quincy Tyler Bernstine and Jake Lacy. The series begins with three episodes on July 27, followed by new episodes every Monday.

July 30 – August 2

Charles Reagan

Lollapalooza, the annual music festival that found a home in Chicago’s Grant Park, will once again be broadcast live on Hulu (and, for the first time, on Disney Plus) this year for all four days of the event. You can catch acts like Lorde, Charlie XCX, Smashing Pumpkins and Tate McRae (and many more) during the live stream, which will also include exclusive content, such as backstage interviews with the talent, behind-the-scenes segments and more. A detailed broadcast schedule will be released closer to the event dates.

July 31st

Adults (Special Premiere)

Hulu’s sitcom Adults premiered last year and became a huge hit. The show, about a group of friends who live together in Queens, stars Malik Elassal, Lucy Freyer, Jack Innanen, Amita Rao and Owen Thiele. This month, a special pre-episode, titled “Marathon Day,” which explores the group’s origins and how they became friends, is set to premiere on Friday, July 31. It’ll be a great way to go for fans itching for more episodes — the second season will air later this summer.
