Yankees vs Red Sox under betting looks strong with Carlos Rodon and Sonny Gray on the mound in the series finale

MLB commissioner faces religious freedom criticism for banning Bible verses
Major League Baseball is facing a Justice Department investigation after it warned San Francisco Giants players against displaying Bible verses during Pride Night. The controversy highlights legal issues under the Human Rights Act, which requires a reasonable accommodation for employees to practice religion. Supporters and public officials expressed strong views on freedom of speech and freedom of religion, demanding consistent application of the policy across campaigns.
I finally managed to break out of my losing streak with a win yesterday.
I can’t say it didn’t have time to sweat, because the game ended 4-3 in extra innings. However, that still gives us a win on the under. Anytime a game goes into extra innings, you have to get panicked, especially with a runner on second base. We dodged a bullet there, and hopefully we can dodge another one here.

The New York Yankees look to be the best team in the American League, and they don’t even have their best player. The team is getting amazing contributions from guys like Paul Goldschmidt, who I thought was done with his contributing days.
The team is hitting .241 this season, and has one of the best bats in the game as well. They are legitimate World Series contenders. The question is can the pieces fit all season long. We have seen many teams break up after a good half year. The Yankees can look to their National League counterpart last year to know that a good half doesn’t guarantee anything.
Today, they turned to Carlos Rodon, who was one of the best pitchers in the Yankees rotation. During this time, Rodon is 4-2 with a 3.70 ERA and 1.28 WHIP. None of those numbers are eye-popping, but for a third-string starter, they’re very welcome. He hasn’t been as sharp on the road as he has been at home, pitching to a 4.26 road ERA. The good news for the Yankees is that they seem to have found him consistent – he will give you five or six innings and three runs or less. Boston Red Sox hitters don’t have a good record against him, hitting just .227 in 75 at-bats.

If the Red Sox somehow manage to get into the postseason, this is one of those series they will look to as a launching pad for their success. They have already won four games against the Yankees, and now they are looking for a sweep. Boston hasn’t been very good this year, and is still 11 games under .500. They only had 12 wins at Fenway coming into this series, so getting three against a good team should feel like a step in the right direction for them.
Even on the radio yesterday, they were talking about selling young men. There is still no indication that they will do that or take another approach. Right now, Sonny Gray, who debuts today, should be very high on people’s wish lists if they are going to listen to the offer. Gray has been excellent this year going 9-1 with a 2.95 ERA and 1.19 WHIP. His performance at Fenway is a big reason for Boston getting any wins there. He has a 2.61 home run ERA and a 4-0 overall record. We’ve bet on him many times at home this season, and he certainly hasn’t disappointed.

Gray faced the Yankees earlier in the month and went 6.1 innings, allowing three earned runs and two homers. This month has been odd for Gray in terms of homers as he has allowed five homers in four starts. All year, he allowed just four homers in 10 starts. I’m not sure if it’s caused or just a reversal of meaning.

Either way, today is the day to bring it back down. With these two pitchers on the mound, we should see teams swing and miss a bit. It would be weird for me to see them get a bunch of hits together. I think we should get a final of something like 3-1 or 4-2. Give me the bottom of this one.
