Jazz Chisholm plays 2B with a Blow Pop in his mouth, the former MLB pitcher is completely missed and Texas MEAT

The sun is out after a rainy Monday, the birds are chirping their hearts out, Mrs. Flowers.
But, before we get back to the 14U game roll, let’s go to Detroit where the jerk— Jazz Chisholm was again last night. This time, he made headlines for playing the fifth inning with a Blow Pop in his mouth. Why? I think he wanted attention and it was the best thing that came to his mind at the time.

What would George Steinbrenner have thought of this? To be fair, the Yankees rules of yesteryear – no beards – have become a thing of the past. Maybe the Yankees are getting too soft, so Banana-fied that Blow Pops are perfectly fine at this point.
Does Aaron Boone have the guts to tell players no Blow Pops while playing defense? Do the Yankees have a leader willing to tell the Jazz there are no Blow Pops? Does Rob Manfred need to legislate the Blow Pop as a player safety measure?
ARE BANDS INSISTING ON SINGING ‘SWEET CAROLINE’ DURING GAMES THE WORST THING IN SPORTS?
Personally, I’d like to see a guy pull a hot dog out to the right side of his back pocket and eat it during a layover. Jazz, make it happen.

Tired of golfing on Long Island?
– Chris A. enters: Should any golf courses in New York be considered for another major event? The crowds go beyond “chaos” (Big J’s favorite term for drunken NY thugs) to insults and profanity. I hope the USGA and PGA Tour pull any future commitments from Shinnecock and Bethpage et al because of the obnoxious “fans” who think everyone is here to watch.
I’m happy for the Knicks fans but it means they’re going to be unbearable.
LINDSEY VONN TURNED HEADS WITH HER POOL, GISELE SHEMBED TOM BRADY AND THE PAIN THAT DIVIDES FANS.
Kinsey: As I write about my experience at the Ryder Cup, I didn’t hear the thugs yelling at the players on Friday. Sounds like Saturday was pretty bad. Yeah, I’m tired of the Long Island “bart-in” bros who invaded the US Open.
If the US Open comes to Toledo in 2045 and you won’t hear such nonsense. You’re more likely to hear gunshots than some people in NW Ohio yelling “get in the basement.” I still can’t believe Inverness got another Open.
In conclusion, I agree with Eamon Lynch of the Golf Channel. It’s time for the USGA and PGA to take a long break from a country that just doesn’t seem to understand how to handle it. It is time to bring these events to the heart of America.

Is “Sweet Caroline” too bad for sports events?
– Chris B. in Florida may raise the foundation for: Yes. The next question? By the way, we just got back to North Carolina from two weeks on the West coast, and I have to say that the drug and homeless problems in LA, SF, and Portland are extreme. There were several times when we went almost anywhere without seeing someone’s shopping cart fort or even a single broken down 25 year old. Have a great holiday!
14U team update: The boys have won two in a row
Do you remember May and the first two weeks of June when I was completely at a loss as to how to get the energy, emotion and leadership out of the boys? It was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to deal with as a baseball coach.
Time to change seems to have arrived last week when all of a sudden the boys started shouting outside and where we were going with the ball defensively. Suddenly, we have four infielders and a supporting cast talking to each other, challenging each other and getting engaged.
LIVVY DUNNE IS EMOTIONAL AFTER PAUL SKENES’ SURPRISE FIND HER ON BASEBALL KIDS, SPURS FAN BEAT AND FLESH
The results speak for themselves. Two victories. 20-6 run differential and a nice 6-5 win last night where 13 guys came together on a quiet night to win with three runs in the top of the fifth when my runner, who isn’t my fastest runner, homered to score the leadoff hit.
Then, he had to jump to the top of the sixth. I was out of pots. The boy is not a coward. He throws, but he’s not a hitter. Luke has become a competitor as many of our boys have done in the past week. I have to train a little and let them compete.
Luke comes out of the top of the sixth and gets a 1-2-3 inning to get the win. The smiles on the boys’ faces spoke volumes as we all headed home. They earned that smile.

Americans are starting to grapple with the question of hoarding at fast food places
What is a scam? At this point in US history, the minute I’m asked for 10-cents for some charity fund, I immediately think I’m being ripped off. I saw a Reddit post where someone mentioned that fast food companies have charities asking for inclusion. I would like to see proof of that.
Remember Kyle Farnsworth?
Of course, because he knows sports. A person did not skip the day of the arm, back, leg, neck, forearm and shoulders. Kyle turned 50 in April.

And with that, I need to start this day. I need to take a walk around the garden to get some fresh air and clear my mind. Time to keep my head down for three more days of work before going off the grid. Now is not the time to slip.
