NHL Rumors: The Winnipeg Jets, and the Top NHL Trade Board

The Winnipeg Jets need to be strong, and someone will come calling for Connor Hellebuyck
Murat Ates of Athletic: (mailbag) The Winnipeg Jets could turn to free agency to add strength to their roster. More intensity is available than scoring. Possible options on the blue line include Connor Murphy, Jamie Oleksiak, Jeremy Lauzon, Radko Gudas and Andrew Peeke. AJ Greer is an option up front. Mason Marchment has a little touch of scoring and physical play, but he’s not really a fighter.
Some think the Jets could end up buying Connor Hellebuyck. Florida, Buffalo, Detroit, Edmonton, Pittsburgh, Utah and New Jersey may all be without confidence in their goaltending.
Could the Panthers offer the No. 9 pick and someone like Anton Lundell or Mackie Samoskevich and an offensive prospect like Kirill Gerasimyuk or Tyler Muszelik.
he doesn’t expect the Jets to trade Hellebuyck.
