Callaway is developing its longest Tour-level golf ball ever.
Just over a year after its debut, Callaway is re-introducing the Chrome Tour Triple Diamond golf ball, the strongest and fastest golf ball in their lineup, with the new Tour Fast Mantle from their 2026 Chrome Tour Lineup.
“We saw great success with this product when we introduced this golf ball in 2025, especially in regards to ball speed,” Callaway Global Golf Ball Director Jason Finley said in a press release. “And with the initial success we’ve had, especially with our Tour Fast Mantle technology in the 2026 line of Chrome products, we wanted to bring that to life with the new Chrome Tour Triple Diamond golf.”

What’s really new and why you should care
A key new feature of the 2026 Chrome Tour Triple Diamond golf balls is the Tour Fast Mantle, introduced in this year’s Chrome Tour edition.
Callaway has been developing new materials for more than four years to achieve a 16 percent higher modulus than the previous generation, resulting in a stronger mantle layer, which means higher speed without increased spin. That means more distance with the advanced system that is the core/layer of all Callaway’s Chrome Tour golf balls.
Not increasing spin is important in a ball like the Triple Diamond, which is designed to have a strong feel and low spin combined with the fast speed of any Callaway golf balls to produce the longest distance.
“This ball is fast, and the Tour Fast Mantle maintains that it will continue to be one of the fastest golf balls on the market,” said Callaway Senior Director of Golf Ball R&D Eric Loeper. “I can put this golf ball up against anything else and it will last as long or longer. It really comes down to what’s important that allows us to do that and not raise standards.”
Going forward, Triple Diamond will now be released at the same time as the rest of the Chrome Tour family.
